Brazil Dating Questions:

Any advice for a girl traveling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil?

This will be the first time I have traveled outside of the US. Any advice of what to expect? What not to do? what places are dangerous? I will be spending some time with a friend there but also sightseeing on my own during the day, is it safe for me to be walking around alone in Rio? I read somewhere that I shouldn’t wear jewelry as I might get robbed is this true? Would wearing fashionable, but not too expensive, clothes get me some unwanted attention by thieves, creeps etc. Thanks in advancefor the help!

Don’t judge a book by its cover, as the saying goes, and if Brazil were a book its cover would surely feature the city of Rio de Janeiro and girls dressed in feathered carnival costumes. However Brazil is far more diverse than just the beautiful city of Rio on which its reputation is built. There is, literally, something for everyone here and often on a mighty scale. The colossal Amazon rainforest is a nature-lovers paradise and the largest tropical forest in the world, the central western savannah area is home to the Pantanal, the largest wetland area in the world and the best area for wildlife viewing while Brazil also boasts 4,300 miles of white sandy beaches fringed with palm trees. As you can gather, it excels at more than just football.

My recent trip was to take me to historical Salvador, a vibrant city, alive and kicking with the strong influence of its African heritage. On a Tuesday night the colonial quarter, with its cobbled streets, pulsates to a rhythmic drum beat from street bands set up to play while the locals come out to eat, drink and dance. You get the feeling this is not just for visitors, this is a party for no other reason than it’s a Tuesday. During the day things are slightly quieter and you get time to wander and admire the beautiful colonial churches and colourful buildings. Most have been lovingly restored and are now museums, shops or small boutique hotels interspersed with restaurants serving an intriguing blend of African and Brazilian cuisine, with ingredients such as coconut, ginger, hot peppers, coriander and fish.

I was also lucky enough to take a private flight to the Kiaroa eco-resort. This is a small property 30 minutes south of Salvador by plane on the end of the Marau peninsula. The flight itself is a scenic adventure, passing along the lush southern coast of Bahia we landed on a private strip 50 yards from the hotel reception. Although it is a 5 star resort, with all the facilities you would expect, if feels quiet and relaxed, especially after the hustle and bustle of Salvador. Of the 28 rooms, most are bungalows with their own private plunge pools, set amongst exquisite tropical gardens. The property overlooks a long sandy beach, almost private in its emptiness, and being on a peninsular, you get the benefit of both sunrise and sunset, a double treat everyday.

Back to Salvador and I then headed north on the Coconut highway. A lovely 90 minute drive along empty beaches and palm trees, I arrived at the sleepy fishing village of Praia do Forte. Instantly my pulse slowed as I slipped into the local way of life. Praia do Forte is a pretty coastal village home to the hugely successful Tamar Turtle Reserve which was started in 1980 to save Brazil’s five species of sea turtle from extinction.

My trip ended in my most favourite city in the world – Rio. Fun, lively and with a naturally amazing setting, the buildings squeeze into the space between golden beaches and bays and the tropical escarpment, dripping with vegetation.

Tom Brady – Dating and Pictures

Exclusive Pictures of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen

Tom Brady was named “Sportsman of the Year” in 2004 and 2007 by the Sporting News. He is the only quarterback in the National Football League’s history to win three Super Bowls before the age of 28. When his New England Patriots won their first Super Bowl, he was also the youngest quarterback to win a Super Bowl.

But what we are going to focus on are his dating achievements which are also impressive and have created a lot of gossip and buzz.

His first girlfriend was Erin Naas, a Cancer, who is a famous Los Angeles model. She shot in to fame after hitting the covers of Sports Illustrated and Maxim. Tom Brady dated her for quite some time as he was enthralled by her curvaceous physique.

After their relationship ended, he met Layla Roberts, an American model, an actress and a Scorpio. She was featured as Playmate of the Month in the 1997 issue of Playboy and appeared in the magazine’s centerfold. Their relationship ended in 2002.

==> Did You Know This About Them? <==

Then he met Tara Reid, another beautiful Scorpio actress well known for her roles in American Pie, Cruel Intentions and My Boss’s Daughter. However, their dating was short lived and their relationship ended in less than a year. It seems as if Tom and Tara weren’t very compatible.

Tom Brady’s next achievement was Jeri Ryan, a Pisces. He sure seems to be dating a lot of water signs. Jeri is a German actress who is known from her appearances in the Voyager series of Star Trek and from being a regular of the Boston Public TV series. They dated for just over a year when their relationship came to an abrupt end in 2003.

During the next 4 years, until 2007 that is, Tom free dated Bridget Moynahan, Kitana Baker, Maria Menounos and Jenna Jameson. All are models, actresses and obviously very attractive. Tom Brady had a better connection with Bridget whom he dated on and off for three years during this period. Bridget became popular from her appearance in I, Robot.

If you’ve been keeping up with celeb gossip then you would know that Tom Brady now dates Gisele Bundchen, another Cancerian. She is a Brazilian supermodel who impresses due to her stature and elegance. She is also the richest of all his previous girlfriends, by far. The downside is that Gisele is also dating Jamie Dornan with whom she probably shares a special understanding since he too is a model and an actor.

No one knows how things will turn out between Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. One thing is certain however. His sights are focused on her. So if you are a girl and are waiting for Tom to enter the realm of singledom, you might have to wait a bit longer since he is certainly enjoying the dating game with Gisele.

The Brazilian Trifectav- A Guys Perspective From Rio

Ok, now that I’ve got your attention, let’s be honest here, there really is something umm unique about our South American female friends. Brazil has had some rather interesting ‘exports’ of interest. Many of these exports have benefitted us men immensely. I introduce to you what I call ‘The Brazilian Trifecta’- The Brazilian Bikini, the Brazilian Wax and the Brazilian Butt.

I just got back from the beaches of Rio and quite honestly it’s hard not to notice how the women value a very distinct kind of sensuality there. Not the slutty bleached blond bimbo variety that we have come to know and love here in the States. But, rather the, ‘I own this sh*t’, and I’m going to torture you with it kind. Let’s explore the first of the above three trifecta. The Brazillian Bikini. Feared by many women around the world and endorsed by all males, who, well…breathe.

The Brazilian Bikini: Here’s the rub on this one (that was an unintentional pun) Brazilians wouldn’t dream of going topless, conversely, women would consider it in the States (and often do in places like South Beach). Brazilians wouldn’t think of wearing a full bikini bottom but it’s our ladies bikini of choice in the States (Brazilians find it just too ‘granny panties’ for their taste). Many in the States see the ‘Brazilian cut’ and scream ‘slutty thong’. So who’s right? I think the short answer is- they just work what they got! And what they got- is a crazy Brazilian butt! Which leads me to number two in my Trifecta.

The Brazilian But: What they heck is this thing anyway? You can spot it from space without using the hubble telescope. I think Justin Timberlike said it best “she looks like a model except she has a little more a**”. It’s like two perfect well shaped legs with this perfect thing on top. Hard to describe but you know it when you see it. Women know it all to well. In fact women are so aware of it that butt implants are now in the top 5 of the most performed female plastic surgeries. Google “butt implants”, I dare you, your computer will blow up. This leads me to the third and final area in my trifecta- The Brazillian Wax.

Brazilian Wax- Without the Brazilian wax, the Brazilian bikini would be impossible! Every now and again the god’s shine down on men for no good reason at all and throw us a bone. The Brazilian wax is just that bone. Since necessity is the mother of invention, it makes perfect sense that when a girl wears a bikini that almost disappears, unless she wants to look like Chewbacca she needs to take care of her business down there. Men, listen closely, their down side is our upside! The possibilities here are limitless! Trust me here- I got your back.

I say long live Brazil and thank Christ the Redeemer for their little contribution to my already amazing life.

Are the Brazilian girls hotter than american girls? How about the boys?

So, what you guys think?

Slovakia definitely has some of the best looking girls, but since it’s really small of a country, nobody really knows this.

Brazil Dating Questions:

I am playing soccer in Brazil. How to replace minerals and water post-workout?

Playing here in Brazil it is extremely hot and the work-outs are very difficult. Running and sprinting for 1 hour or more without hydrating. After the work-out maybe 2 or 3 hours later I get a bad headache (very bad headache). I know it is because of dehydration, but I drink tons of water before and after. Does anyone know why, and what I can do to stay hydrated? Also, my calves get very tight no matter how much I stretch before hand. If anyone has any answer´s, I would appreciate it.

Sports drinks (gatorade, powerade) are wonderful things. If you don’t want a sports drink, get electrolyte tablets to dissolve in water.
Your problem is that your body is not able to retain the water you drink because you lack potassium chloride and sodium chloride. Drinking fortified liquids should help.

Brazil Gay Bars

The gay culture in Brazil is hot and strong, but it this culture thrives in one of Brazil’s largest cities, Rio de Janeiro. Here you will find a heavy cosmopolitan city that has a large and very active gay community.

In Rio, you will feel welcome everywhere, and language barriers literally do not exist. When you are in Rio, your only problem will be in choosing which of the many Brazil gay bars to visit.

The beach in Rio de Janeiro is excuse enough alone to visit this beautiful city. You won’t be able to decide which is more beautiful, the people, or the sandy beachy shores. You will want to definitely check out the hot Brazil gay bars in the Ipanema neighbourhood, and particularly the Farme Gay. The Farme Gay is a hot spot that attracts many local celebrities and gays from every culture. Assimilate yourself in the gay community at Farme Gay, also known as Barbie Iland. It will not take you long during your stay to realize that the term Barbie is one used among the gay folks to describe only the hottest and wealthiest men in the gay community.

If you are in Rio, you will also want to check out the festival known as Rio Gay by Day. Here you will be able to participate in gay dodgeball or volleyball on the weekends. You will get to meet plenty of the residents of the gay community and socialize your days away. Spend your evenings cooling off and unwinding in Ipanema in the many Brazil gay bars in Rio.

The Copacabana neighbourhood in Rio is of course yet another hot spot in Brazil with a huge selection of Brazil gay bars. Start your evening off with a late dinner at any of their world class dining facilities, and finish the evening in the many Brazil gay bars in Copacabana.
